The goal of the company is to provide each business with customized communication solutions, which includes superior equipment and unlimited upgrades to your system,  bundled packages and around the clock customer service.

Most telephone system providers – both online and off – will teach customers how to use their new phone systems through online tutorials, videos or handbooks, but Hover Networks takes it to the next level. They will actually send a local representative right to your place of business and give you and your staff hands on training on how to use your new phone system. They will help you configure the system to get the most out of it for your particular business needs. They say customers and staff will be completely comfortable with the system within one session. But, for any further questions or concerns, they are just a free phone call away, ready and willing to help.

Send and Receive Faxes

Incoming faxes are sent to your email as PDF files. You can send a fax from your email account, desktop or smartphone. Many services charge extra for this feature, but with Hover Networks, it is included in your monthly plan.

Call Queuing

Call queuing allows you to efficiently handle a large volume of incoming calls. When all the lines are busy, callers are put in a queue in first come first served order, or given the option to go to voicemail. You set the queue to play music or an advertisement to the callers while they wait.

Conference Bridge

With this feature, you can hold a conference call with up to 30 participants. All invited participants (invitations are automatically sent via email) can join the conference by calling a special, original phone number that is password protected, preventing unauthorized personnel from listening in. Passwords can be changed at any time, and internal conference bridges is included in your plan. It’s not clear what the charges are for non-internal bridging.

Toll Free Numbers

Toll free numbers can be used by callers from the U.S. and Canada. Hover Networks says you can create your own, easy to remember toll free number, however, they do not call this a vanity number as most companies do, but basically it is the same thing.

Virtual Voice Mail Box

All messages are stored in one place, giving you easy access to reply, delete or store them as you please. Voice mail can be retrieved by phone, computer or email. You can set up as many virtual voice mailboxes as you need, and customize the greeting any way you like.

Call Recording

Hover Networks lets you record all or a portion of a call. This eliminates the need to take notes and helps avoid mistakes.

With Hover Networks, you can make international calls at discounted rates.

Live Monitoring

This may sound like eves-dropping, but sometimes you just have to know what your employees are up to. The dashboard is easy to configure and allows you to:

  • check on employees to ensure customers are given proper care and consideration and to make sure they are working up to standard
  • call any of your extensions or numbers with one click
  • control features such as do not disturb, using the interface
  • maintain a large directory of all your agents


Hover Networks is not compatible with just any phone. The company has partnered with the Polycom® suite of SoundPoint® systems to use with their phone service. The phones can be purchased separately or be included in a two year commitment. Many businesses might not see this as a problem, because if you are happy with the service, committing to two years is no big deal. But if you opt for the 30 trial period, you could end up buying the phone.

No 800 Numbers

Because of the extremely high demand, true 800 numbers are hard to come by for any toll free number phone service provider. That may be why some companies won’t let you transfer numbers to another provider  – they want to hold on to the precious few 800 numbers available. This really isn’t a deal breaker, but it is something to make note of – the only toll free numbers they offer are 877, 866 and 855.


At first glance the lowest plan starting at $39.99 might seem more expensive than what other providers offer, but when you think about everything that is included – especially unlimited calls and faxes – you can easily see that this is one of the best deals around.     have their service. customer service is great. But the phone system is lacking ease of use. Have been dropping multiple calls during transfer. At the end of it all I wish I would have stayed with my current analog service company. Thanks Hover Networks for locking me into a 3 yr contract 🙁
